Dr. Manoj Kumar did his MBBS from MAMC, New Delhi in 1991. MS (Gen Sur) from Delhi University in the year 1995. He is a Diplomate National Board in Surgery. Working in Cardio-Thoracic Surgery from August 1995. He has done MCh (CTVS) form prestigious AIIMS, New Delhi passed in 1999. Worked as Registrar in Dept. of CTVS, AIIMS, New Delhi
He was instrumental in starting Cardio-Thoracic Surgery program in Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Whitefield, Bangalore, along with the Dr. P Venugopal and team of surgeons from AIIMS. He along with his other two colleagues established the Dept. of CTVS at BGS Global Hospital and worked their till Aug 2015. He has keen interest in surgeries for congenital heart defects and total arterial revascularization CABG. He is an active member of the heart failure treatment team. Presently working as Senior Consultant CTVS Surgeon at Apollo Hospitals, Seshadripuram, Bangalore.
He is a member of many national and international Cardio-Thoracic associations. He has practiced many other Cardio-Thoracic Surgery programs in the country.
