Dr. Anand completed his MBBS from the reputed Bangalore Medical College in the year 1993. He did his MS (Surgery) from the Massive Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, Gujrat in 1997. He went on to do specilization in Cardio-Thoracic & Vascular Surgery from the reputed Kind Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai which is considered as the Mecca of cardiac training in the country between 1997 – 2000.
He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburg, UK. He is a members of the International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgeons and the International Society of Heart & Lung Transplant.
He is an expert in bearing heart total arterial revascularisation, a specialized from of bypass surgery using sequential grafting technique with arteries, rather than veins. His keen interest is in Heart Failure Surgery which he runs as his passion. He along with his team Dr. Bharat Dubey, Dr. Manoj Kumar & Dr. Srinivas Dhulipala are team behind setting up CTVS program in Sri. Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences and BGS Global Hospital and performed Bangaluru’s First Green Corridor Heart Transplant successfully.
