Overview

Dr Manoj Kumar S.P. is a well-known Cardiac Surgeon in Bangalore and currently practices at Apollo Hospitals. He has been a Cardiovascular surgeon for more than twenty years, during which time he has accumulated professional expertise and experience. He has worked in several different Cardio-Thoracic Surgery programmes around the country. He conducts several medical procedures, including Balloon Mitral Valvuloplasty, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Pacing, Carotid Angioplasty and Stenting, Invasive Cardiac, and many more. He has also written several papers and participated in numerous workshops and research projects sponsored by the cardiology department.

Additionally, Dr Manoj Kumar is a member of esteemed organisations, including the national and international Cardio-Thoracic associations.

Work Experience

• Since August 1995, he has been working in the Cardio-Thoracic Surgery department. He worked as a Registrar in the CTVS Department at AIIMS in New Delhi. Since 2015, he has been working with Apollo Hospitals as a Senior Consultant – CTVS.

Education

Dr Manoj Kumar earned his MBBS from MAMC in New Delhi in 1991 and his MS in General Surgery from Delhi University in 1995. He is a National Board of Surgery Diplomate (General Surgery). He received his MCh (CTVS) from the famous AIIMS in New Delhi in 1999.
