Dr. L. Vijay Bhaskar is a renowned Radiation Oncologist in Bangalore, Karnataka. He specialises in diagnosing and treating cancer patients. In his entire work experience, he has treated conditions like – head and neck cancer, gynaecology-related malignancies, breast cancer, brain tumours, etc.

Education

After completing his MBBS from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College in 2000, he went to Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology to complete his MD. He has done his advanced training in radiation therapy at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, London. He has work experience of more than 16 years. He has worked as a Radiation Oncologist Consultant with the Curie Center of Oncology. He is currently working as a secretary at Bangalore Oncology Group and ICC 2017 Trade and Exhibition. He is a visiting consultant at HCG and a senior consultant at Apollo Hospitals, Karnataka. He was also a member of the Convener Scientific Committee – An Indo-Canadian Collaborative Programme organised by KIDWAI Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore, and the London Regional Cancer Program, Ontario.

He actively participates in seminars, teaching programs, and various research and academic projects. He is also a co-editor of the book – RAMIRO (Recent Advances in Molecular Imaging and Radiation Oncology) in 2009. He is also an active member of the Karnataka Medical Council.
