Dr. B A Chandramouli

Overview

As a leading neurosurgeon in Bangalore, Dr B. A. Chandramouli is a respected name. He holds a degree of MBBS and M.Ch (Master of Chirurgiae) in Neurosurgery and has considerable expertise of 39+ years. He is a member of the Neurological Society of India and the Bangalore Neurological Society. His areas of speciality include diseases of the spinal cord, epilepsy, vascular lesions, neuro-oncology, headache problems, infections of the brain, neuroepithelial tumours, and diseases of the peripheral nervous system. Numerous national and international papers to his credit have been acknowledged in indexed journals, and he is regularly requested to speak on micro neurosurgery at scientific meetings, CMEs, and international conferences as a guest faculty member.

Dr B. A. Chandramouli completed his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore. He also did his M.Ch (Neurosurgery) from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in 1983.

In his medical career, he has offered his medical expertise in various medical institutions. He is currently associated with Aster-RV Hospital, Bangalore as a Lead Consultant in the Neurosurgery department.

He has more than 35+ years’ experience in neurosurgery and has been trained in micro neurosurgery from Switzerland, Sugita scholar from Japan, Skull base surgery from George Washington DC, USA

He is the Chairman of Ethics committee, Centre for brain research IISC Bangalore.

Dr Chandramouli has more than 115 + publications and has been a part of many research projects as chief investigator and Co investigator. He has been and continues to be a teacher for both postgraduates and under graduates for more than Four decades.
