Dr Anand Subhramanyam is an expert in total arterial revascularisation, a specialised form of bypass surgery that utilises the sequential grafting technique with arteries instead of veins. His keen interest lies in Heart Failure Surgery, which he pursues with great passion. Over the years of his practice as a Consultant and Surgeon in the field of Cardiology, Dr Subhramanyam has acquired acute clinical and surgical expertise in the areas of Cardiology and Heart Transplantation.

Education

• Dr Ananda Subhramanyam graduated from one of the premier medical institutions in India, acquiring critical expertise in Cardiology.
• He completed his MBBS degree from the renowned Bangalore Medical College in 1993.
• Dr Anand further specialised in Surgery, earning his MS degree from the prestigious Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in 1997.
• He then pursued a specialisation in Cardio-Thoracic & Vascular Surgery from the esteemed King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, considered the Mecca of cardiac training in the country, between 1997 and 2000.

Honors & Awards

Dr Anand Subhramanyam, along with his esteemed team comprising of Dr Bharat Dubey, Dr Manoj Kumar, and Dr Srinivas Dhulipala, has played a pivotal role in establishing the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) program at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences and BGS Global Hospital. Their efforts have been highly regarded in the medical community. This accomplished team has also been recognised for successfully performing Bangalore’s First Green Corridor Heart Transplant, showcasing their expertise and commitment to providing exceptional medical care.
